Pastel Desert
Like magic, the pre-dawn light paints the desert a pale purple, interrupted by patches of yellow from a rare bloom of wildflowers. Only minutes later, the sun would rise over the horizon and the purple desert would give way to the oranges and reds typical of the badlands.
