Queen of the Forest
As I entered the Great Bear Rainforest for the first time, it was hard for me to imagine that anything could rival the beauty of this deep, dark, magical forest itself. Eventually though, she appeared moving slowly and constantly surveying her surroundings. Here she was, the namesake of this sacred place. I don’t know if I had ever been so wrong about anything before, she seemed to radiate not only her own beauty, but the staggering beauty of her surroundings as well.
